Common Symptoms of Arrhythmia

An irregular heartbeat also termed as arrhythmia is a condition for speeding or fluttering heart.  It occurs due to the abnormalities in the electrical impulses that synchronize heartbeats. This heart disorder may not be fatal but it can result into serious heart condition.

Different types of arrhythmia include:

  • bradycardia (slow heartbeat)
  • tachycardia (fast heartbeat)
  • irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation)

 

Common Symptoms of Arrhythmia Condition

Fast heartbeat or tachycardia symptoms

  • Difficulty in breathing
  • lightheadedness
  • fainting or nearly fainting
  • heart palpitations (fluttering in the chest)
  • chest pain
  • dizziness
  • sudden weakness

Slow heartbeat or bradycardia symptoms

  • tiredness
